Staying Focused in Real Estate

In today's real estate market for both Buyers and Sellers can be very frightening.  The uncertainty with the economy alone has many baffled if this is the right time to buy or sell real estate.  If we should have learned anything from the past is the economy if closely watched is cyclical.  What goes up, must come down and vice versa. We as Americans are fighters and we will make it through the storm.  Ignore the "nay sayers", they lack the faith to prevail.  However this is the time for Buyers and Sellers to be educated consumers.  As we can see with the catastrophe of Adjustable Rate mortgages, this was just miseducation of consumers.  We must become well informed with each unique real estate market by knowing the neighborhood, school system, history of sales, price per square foot, appraised value, etc.  These indicators will give you some sort of ideal if it's a good purchase.  On the other hand, Sellers need to be aware the same indicators to assure the sales price is fair.  A little homework done on both the Buyers and Sellers end will make the transaction a lot more easier.  There's no other business that compares to Real Estate-the reward is great if executed with Pride and Passion.
